Originating from Mediterranean regions, chamomile matricaria, a large and very aromatic annual plant, is now widely present in Europe. The flowers, characterised by the pleasant fragrance of their yello capitulum, are harvestest between May and September to then be dried. Its extract, prepared under heat, contains apigenin, a yellow-coloured flavonic pigment, which leaves blonde and golden highlights in the hair. It is endowed with softening and calming properties.

Associated to a softening and volume-enhancing extra-gentle emulsifying base, Kloranes shampoo with camomile extract gives the hair its golden highlights: the apigenin it contains binds to capillary fibers to delicately coat the scales without penetrating into its core, therefore gradually intensifying the blonde and golden shades in the hair.
