Mah Jongg is the national game of China where it was suppressed under Chairman Mao because of its addictive nature. It is now played worldwide, most particularly in Japan and the USA, where Mah Jongg leagues abound. It is a game for four in which players collect sets of differently engraved tiles to complete a hand and score the appropriate bonus. A hand takes five minutes a full game up to three hours. This set does not include the Mah Jongg racks which can be purchased separately.
